Since 1977 the historic Farina Archive has been housed in the  "Rheinisch-Westfälischen Wirtschafts-Archiv" (Rhine-Westphalian Commerce Archive) in Cologne (RWWA). Since 1709 all original records regarding purchases, sales, correspondence, manufacture, disputes and estates have been documented there.

The FARINA-ARCHIVE (with a length of over 300 meters in the RWWA) is without a doubt the most complete historical archive of any business enterprise north of the Alps. The archive also recounts the unusual, nearly 300-year history of a fragrance. In addition to this, there is also the Farina Family Archive in Cologne, which, with an expanse of more than 80 meters, contains many documents from the Farina's Italian homeland that date back to the 13th century.
